Important: not an emergency notification service
This program delivers transactional clinical notifications to authorized physicians about their monitored patients. It is not an emergency alerting service, and it is not a substitute for the recipient's own clinical judgment or facility protocols.
Important: notifications may contain protected health information
Notifications may include protected health information (PHI). Recipients are enrolled by Norbert Health and have agreed in writing to safeguard PHI consistent with applicable laws.
SMS is delivered through commercial mobile networks. Mobile carriers transmitting these messages and the manufacturers of recipient devices are not Business Associates under HIPAA. Recipients are responsible for securing their device — including passcode or biometric lock and, where appropriate, disabling message previews on the lock screen.
How recipients are enrolled
The program is operated for authorized physicians designated by Norbert Health. Recipients are enrolled directly by Norbert Health through a written or operational consent process — not through a public sign-up form. By accepting enrollment, a recipient agrees to receive transactional monitoring notifications at the mobile number they provided, and acknowledges the disclosures in these Terms and the linked Privacy Policy.
How to opt out
You may cancel the SMS service at any time. Reply STOP to unsubscribe. After you send the STOP message, we will send you a confirmation message and you will no longer receive SMS messages from this program. To re-enroll, contact Norbert Health support using the details below.

Carriers and delivery
Carriers are not liable for any delayed or undelivered messages. Supported carriers include all major U.S. wireless carriers. The program is intended for use in the United States only.
Privacy
Your mobile number, opt-in status, and message metadata are handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Mobile opt-in data and consent are not shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Message content and delivery metadata are processed by our SMS provider (Twilio) for the sole purpose of message delivery.
Changes to these terms
We may update these SMS Program Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date below. Material changes affecting how the program operates will be communicated through the program or by other reasonable means.
